Detail: The stainless-steel Travellers Cross pendant measures 59mm long including the hanging bail by 32mm wide. It hangs on a stainless-steel chain which is 60cm (23.5") long.

Symbolism:
The 1,000-year-old journey to the shrine of St. James in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela is known as the Way of St. James (El Camino de Santiago - in Spanish). Some 2000,000 pilgrims travel to the city each year from all over the world to find inspiration and/or deeper spiritual understanding. 
Many carry with them a symbol of St James like this - believed to keep them safe.
