This incredible Cross of St James necklace in sterling-silver, is inlaid with Azabache jet by specialist silversmiths in Asturias, Spain (close to El Camino de Santiago).
Azabache or 'jet', is notoriously difficult to work with and so skilled "Azabacheros" work with the silversmiths to create these beautiful jewellery pieces.
This necklace would make a lovely Camino souvenir or memento. It would also make a lovely Christening present or Communion gift, or indeed a gift for any Christian religious festival (e.g Easter).
