A distinctive necklace that’s symbolic of safety and travel

¿Feel like you or a friend could do with a bit of extra security or protection at the moment?

This Travellers’ Shield pendant is engraved with the Travellers Cross © symbol of El Camino de Santiago - comprised of a Saint James cross placed within the Scallop Shell symbol of the Way of St James, one of the greatest journeys in the world. For this reason, it can act as a reminder to be careful and be safe, especially when travelling on a journey.

Detail: (See OPTIONS *)

HERS: The Travellers Shield pendant is 28mm long (including the hanging bail), and 19mm wide. It hangs on a fine 45cm (17.7") stainless-steel cable chain which has a 5cm (2") extender. The stainless-steel shield is mirror polished and engraved on the front with the Travellers Cross © symbol and, on the back, it has our sAfe © logo.

HIS: The Travellers Shield pendant measures 32mm long including the hanging bail, by 25mm wide. It hangs on a stainless-steel ball chain which measures 50cm (19.5") long - but it can be easily shortened by clipping the end of the chain where it goes into the open-clasp fitting (see image). The stainless-steel shield is mirror polished and engraved on the front with the Travellers Cross © symbol and, on the back, it has our sAfe © logo.

BOTH: Includes x1 HIS  plus  x1 HERS

Symbolism:

The 1,000-year-old journey to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela is known as the Way of St. James (El Camino de Santiago - in Spanish). Some 200,000 pilgrims travel to the city each year from all over the world to find inspiration and/or deeper spiritual understanding.  Many carry with them a symbol of St James and the Scallop Shell like this - believed to keep them safe.
